Welcome to Hospitality Afterhours. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at hospitalityafterhours.ca and your membership in the Hospitality Afterhours private community. Please read them carefully before applying.

By accessing our website or submitting a membership application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Hospitality Afterhours

Hospitality Afterhours is a private, curated membership community for hospitality industry professionals based in Toronto, Canada, and expanding globally. We provide access to exclusive networking events, private dinners, a curated member directory, brand partnerships, and a weekly industry newsletter — the Afterhours Brief.

Membership is granted by application only. Acceptance is at our sole discretion and is not guaranteed.

3. Membership Tiers & Pricing

Hospitality Afterhours offers the following membership tiers:

All prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Memberships are billed monthly on a recurring basis. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' written notice to existing members.

Important: Payment is only collected upon acceptance of your application. If your application is declined, any payment made is fully refunded within 5–7 business days. No exceptions.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Member-Initiated Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at hello@hospitalityafterhours.ca. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining period of a billing cycle.

Founding Partner Tier

The Founding Partner tier is a permanent, legacy membership. Once accepted, the $299/month rate is locked in for life. Founding Partner members who cancel forfeit their founding status and cannot reclaim it at the founding price.

Declined Applications

If your application is not accepted, you will receive a full refund of any payment made within 5–7 business days.

Event Tickets

Tickets purchased for specific events are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Hospitality Afterhours, in which case a full refund will be issued.

As a member of Hospitality Afterhours, you agree to:

7. Intellectual Property

All content on hospitalityafterhours.ca — including the Hospitality Afterhours name, logo, the HA monogram, website design, copy, and the Afterhours Brief newsletter — is the exclusive property of Hospitality Afterhours and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without express written permission.

8. The Afterhours Brief Newsletter

The weekly Afterhours Brief is a members-only publication. Content within the Brief is confidential and intended solely for the subscribed member. Forwarding, republishing, or sharing Brief content publicly is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hospitality Afterhours provides its services "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, attendance at events, or interactions with other members.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any membership at our sole discretion, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, conduct unbecoming of the community, or misrepresentation in an application. In cases of termination for cause, no refund will be issued for the current billing period.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify members of material changes via email with at least 14 days' notice. Continued membership after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
